World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic is here, and players are diving back into Pandaria’s lush zones in search of gear, gold, and hidden treasures. Whether you're looking to gear up your alts, collect transmog pieces, or make some extra coin, green gear can be surprisingly profitable—especially if you know where to farm it. Some greens in MoP Classic fetch high prices at the Auction House due to their looks, stats, or rarity.
In this guide, I’ll walk you through 13 of the best farming spots where you can grind for decent green gear while also filling your bags with vendor trash, crafting mats, and the ever-useful wow mop classic gold.
1. Krasarang Wilds – Unga Ingoo and Nearby Beach
This area is great for AoE farming. The hozen respawn quickly, drop greens at a solid rate, and can also yield a fair amount of cloth. While you’re here, you can easily fill your bags with items worth vendoring or listing on the AH.
2. Dread Wastes – Rikkitun Village
Mantid mobs here are plentiful and tightly packed, ideal for AoE classes. These mobs can drop green weapons and armor with a high chance. Plus, there's a chance to find materials for professions, adding even more value.
3. Townlong Steppes – The Sumprushes
This lesser-known spot has a good density of mobs that drop both cloth and green-quality loot. Since it’s off the beaten path, you’re less likely to compete with other farmers.
4. Vale of Eternal Blossoms – Mogu Ruins
The mogu around the ruins drop a solid variety of greens, and you can also pick up keys for the Treasure Room scenario. While farming here, you’ll slowly stack up wow mop classic gold from vendoring and selling drops.
5. Jade Forest – Sri-La Village
Hozen mobs in this area respawn fast and are easy to farm. While the gear drop rate isn't the highest, you’ll occasionally get transmog-worthy items that sell well.
6. Kun-Lai Summit – Mogujia and Burlap Trail
A great place to farm both green gear and Windwool Cloth. The yaungol here are easy to kite and pull in groups, making it ideal for mages, warlocks, or hunters.
7. Dread Wastes – The Briny Muck
This swampy area is full of saurok and other creatures. You can easily pull multiple mobs and farm uninterrupted for hours. Great for solo players looking to stack up on drops.
8. Valley of the Four Winds – Nesingwary Safari
The wildlife in this zone drops greens at a moderate rate, and the skins are useful for leatherworkers. If you're farming both gold and mats, it’s a nice multi-purpose route.
9. Timeless Isle – Ordon Sanctuary
While technically not part of core leveling content, mobs here drop timeless gear tokens and greens. It’s worth a visit if you're geared enough to handle the elites solo.
10. Krasarang Wilds – Dojani River
This area has a great density of mobs and a higher-than-average green drop rate. It’s one of those overlooked gems that can net you quite a bit of vendor gold and greens.
11. Townlong Steppes – Kri’vess’s Nest
A compact farming area with mantid mobs that go down quickly. The greens here aren't rare, but they add up. Some models are desirable for transmog collectors.
12. Isle of Thunder – Za’tual
Great for high-level solo players looking for consistent mob density and gear drops. You’ll also pick up a lot of raw gold and BOE greens that can sell decently.
13. The Jade Forest – Terrace of Ten Thunders
A hidden spot with a ton of mogu and sha-influenced mobs. The chance for high-value green gear is decent, and the respawn rate is quick enough to make it sustainable farming.
Whether you’re farming to gear up, build transmog sets, or just want a break from dailies and raids, these spots offer a reliable way to earn and stay productive. Green gear can sometimes surprise you—both in stats and in value at the Auction House.
And if farming isn’t always your thing or you’re short on time, some players opt to buy WoW MoP Classic Gold to speed things up. While that's a personal choice, there’s still plenty of satisfaction to be found grinding out that wow mop classic gold the old-fashioned way—mob by mob, drop by drop.
